I'm so glad you are here! My name is Angie Owens. I have been a wife, mother, domestic violence survivor, single mom, high school teacher, a broken hearted mess, a wife again, and a believer that true love doesn't cause pain but instead, joy.

A little about me

By the grace of God, I was diagnosed with a debilitating auto immune disease several months ago. Although this disease has taken away my ability to be in the classroom, it has given me the drive to explore my true passion- writing. And as I look over what might seem to be an ordinary life, I realize my life has been all but ordinary. I want to share these extraordinary experiences with readers so they will know they are not alone.

About this Blog

In this blog, no topic will be off limits. I will discuss young love, self esteem, pregnancy, abuse, cheating, affairs, depression, sex, abandonment, true love, peace, God, and finding joy after a heartbreak. I will talk candidly about my own experiences, in hopes that readers enjoy my stories, relate to my pain, and find inspiration in my successes.
